Webinar (19 November 2024)
The HVDC Centre is a real-time simulation and testing facility created to support the deployment of HVDC technology connected to the GB transmission system. The Centre hosts hardware replicas of the Control & Protection systems used in real-world HVDC projects. These HVDC replicas can be used in a real-time simulation of the transmission system which provides a safe test environment. This webinar looked at how these HVDC replicas are used to de-risk HVDC projects and gave practical guidance on how new replicas should be selected, specified and managed.
