The HVDC Centre is seeking to fund research projects that support its objective of de-risking the deployment of HVDC on the GB Network.
We are very keen to work with UK universities and research institutions to leverage our collective expertise of HVDC to support the GB Electricity Network in collaboration with Transmission Owners and the System Operator.
We are therefore inviting institutions/consortium to submit project proposals; please click here for more details on the process (which has a deadline of 24th January 2020 for full proposals).
Also, an information webinar was held on Tuesday 10th December 2019 from 10-11am to launch the 2020 Research Programme and attended by over 18 different participants/organisations.
